Explanation of printing symbols
Each of our blank invitations is marked with one of the
symbols shown below to indicate printing suggestions.

Each symbol indicates the likelihood that a certain printing method
will safely print. Because all home printers handle thicknesses
differently, be sure to read the guidelines below.
Symbol Guidelines
Green symbol indicates that offset printing will safely
print the blank invitation cards. Offset printing produces sharp results and is
readily available at print shops in your local area. Offset printing can be used
for all our cards.
Offset printing works by spreading ink on a metal plate with etched images,
than tranferring to an intermediary surface such as a rubber blanket, and
finally applied to paper by pressing the paper against the intermediary
surface.
 Yellow
symbol indicates that most (but not all) inkjet and laser printers will safely
print the blank invitation cards due to thickness or embossing. Because all
printers handle thicknesses differently, we cannot be sure that your printer
will properly feed the card. Also, some laser printers may curl the card while
printing due to heat transfer.
We recommend you order a sample first to test your home printer. See below
for testing tips.
 Red
symbol indicates that few inkjet and laser printers will safely print the blank
invitation cards due to thickness or embossing. Because all printers handle
thicknesses differently, the card may likely jam the printer or warp as it comes
out due to the bending in the rollers. Also, some laser printers may curl the
card while printing due to heat transfer.
We recommend you offset print this type of card or order a sample first to
test your home printer. See below for testing tips.
