Rubber stamping can spice up your paper by creating your own designs. Have you ever wanted a specific design on your vellum paper or cardstock, but you can't find what you have in mind? Well, rubberstamping allows you to create an exqusite style of paper. Here is a small list of supplies you will need, and some simple tips for you to let your imagination run wild! Supplies: Begin to stamp! 1. Press the rubber stamp firmly onto the stamp pad until the entire surface is covered with ink. If you have a large stamp, you want a raised ink pad that will allow you to press your stamp into the pad and move it back and forward until the entire surface is covered. 2. Apply the stamp firmly onto the surface you want to stamp. Be sure NOT to rock the stamp from side to side. This will leave the boxed marks from the stamp onto the paper. You also do not want to move or hand while stamping, because that will cause the stamp to blur. The best way to stamp onto your paper is to apply even pressure over the entire area with your figertips without allowing the stamp to move. 3. Repeat this process to create the design you |
