The card enclosure is a translucent vellum. This vellum is medium weight and is not cardstock thickness. This item can be used as a wrap to add a nice finishing touch to your invitation card.

Color: The color is slightly gray.

Paper Finish: The natural process of production achieves a significantly higher level of translucence than chemical methods. The paper is also acid free, ligning free, recyclable and totally chlorine free.

The inside portion of the card is 5 1/8" x 7". You can have any of our papers cut to 5" x 6 7/8" to fit as an insert inside the petal card. NOTE that the recommended insert cutting size (5" x 6 7/8") is 1/8" smaller than the inside size (5 1/8" x 7") of the petal card in order to fit appropriately.

Usage Styles

• The flaps can be folded in an interlocked style to create a petal effect (see Pictures)
• The bottom 3 flaps can also be glued together to create a pocket and use the top as a flap (see Pictures)

Please note that petal cards are sent UNFOLDED and glue is not supplied for creating pockets. The 4 flaps are scored for easy folding.

When folded, the card will fit perfectly into the matching A7 Envelopes. When unfolded, the card is 10 1/4" on the shorter side and 14" on the longer side from the ends of each flap. Due to the unfolded size and the paper being extra heavy weight cardstock, it is NOT compatible with most home printers. If you need printing directly on the card, please contact a local print shop.
