Should I choose the 17# or 29# white vellum?
Should I choose the 17# or 29# white vellum?
Solution
The 29# is a bit thicker and due to a different manufacturing process, MORE translucent (see through) than the 17#. Both can be used as overlays, depending on your preference for paper thickness. If you are using the paper for scrapbooking, protecting photos, printing photographs & detailed images, or require acid-free, then the 29# vellum paper is recommended.
Both papers print fine in most printers, but some of our customers using inkjet printers, have reported better results on the 29# vellum paper.
If you are still unsure, we recommend the 29# as it is more versatile than the 17#. Sample sheets can also be ordered from the bottom of each item page.
