The paper is pearlescent and has a gorgeous shine to it. The paper shimmers in the light and has a beautiful soft sparkle.

A7 Petal Printed Insert Set (Invite + 1 Insert)

Assembly Instructions:

The inside portion of the card is 5 1/8" x 7". You can have any of our papers cut to 4.75" x 6.75" to fit as an insert inside the petal card. NOTE that the recommended insert cutting size (4.75" x 6.75") is smaller than the inside size (5 1/8" x 7") of the petal card in order to fit appropriately.

Usage Styles

The flaps can be folded in an interlocked style to create a petal effect (see Pictures)
The bottom 3 flaps can also be glued together to create a pocket and use the top as a flap (see Pictures)

Please note that petal cards are sent UNFOLDED and glue is not supplied for creating pockets. The 4 flaps are scored for easy folding.

When folded, the card will fit perfectly into an A7 envelope, most cards have a matching envelope. When unfolded, the card is 10 1/4" on the shorter side and 14" on the longer side from the ends of each flap.

Due to the unfolded size and the paper being extra heavy weight cardstock, it is NOT compatible with most home printers. If you need printing directly on the card, please contact a local print shop.

What envelope will this enclosure fit inside of?

Answer: This will fit inside the A7 Envelopes (5 1/2” x 7 1/2”) perfectly.

Which envelope can I use for RSVP's??

The A1 Square Flap Envelope or the A1 Euro Flap Envelopes will fit inside the pocket perfectly. You can also use A2 Envelopes.

Do I need an envelope to mail the petal card?

Yes, we highly suggest using an envelope to house your inserts. The flaps of the petal cards may get damaged during mailing.

Are envelopes included with the purchase of petal cards?

Mailing envelopes are not included with the petal card enclosures. This is done to give customers flexiblity in choosing coordinating envelopes.

Can I print on the pockets?

The pockets can not be printed on as it becomes 3 layers thick.

What are petals used for?

Petals are used to present invitations (wedding, corporate events, bat/bar mitzvah, baby showers, birthdays...any kind of event really!) The benefit to the pocket is organization and presentation. The petals offer a dramatic opening upon receipt.

Can I order samples?

Yes, you can order blank singles from the top of any product page.

Do you have designs I can use ?

We don't have ready made designs but etsy is a great place to find your invitation template. Once you have your paper picked out, and your template customized with your wedding details, you are on your final step of having it printed!
